Abstract
The following basic issues are presented in the paper: the features of evolution of orbits in the GEO region; the description of the simulation technique; the density estimation for space debris of different sizes;: the estimation of space debris cross-sectional area flux with respect to some spacecraft in the GEO region; the comparison of stochastic simulation results with the appropriate data determined on the basis of the deterministic approach.
